first class stafffrazzled bacontemperature adjustment
the staff were first class, i guess.
the breakfast was not of good quality. bacon was frazzled and dry. the room was also cold. i couldn't adjust the temperature, either.

pleasant staffspacious room
the staff seemed pleasant and attentive. the hotel had lots of charm and period features. our room was in a row of cottages next to the main building. the room was immaculate and spacious

the staff were lovely, including the night staff and the breakfast manager. lots of parking was available . the room was clean and the bed was comfy. plenty of towels were supplied in the bathroom.
the carpet was stained in the refurbished part of the hotel. the headboard also had traces of paint. the shower tray did not drain properly, which i found inconvenient.

mixed bag at a riverside hotel
cheap carpetoverflowing bins
the room i was in definitely needed some love. the carpet looked cheap, and made a weird noise when i walked on it. i also got bitten on my ankles while sleeping. the bins near the entrance to the rooms were overflowing and stunk a lot. breakfast had some things i couldn't even eat because it sat there too long on the hot plate, like the hash browns that were too hard and the scrambled eggs that were rubbery.

cold buffetcar park condition
I'm a bit disappointed because the hot breakfast wasn't good. The buffet had cold food, and the sausages tasted like cheap frozen ones. I found the cereal a better choice. the car park needs repair as my car scraped the bottom when I parked. This really bothered me.
